With its impressive 23,500 capacity it boasts the largest floor space of any indoor venue, tiered seating and back stage experiences with bars, clubs, seating areas to bring music to the city, not only on the stage, but before, during the intervals and after the main performances.
AM Fire Systems remit was to design the dry risers and impressive bespoke fire sprinkler system to suit the complex steel structure with over 10,000 sprinklers. Ranging from exposed sprinklers, in plasterboard ceilings, rafts, feature ceilings, in tiles and exposed blacked out areas. The sprinkler system was designed and installed to BS EN 12845 with concrete water storage tanks feeding 1 electric and 1 backup diesel driven fire pump with fire protection to the service yard, full concourses, artist areas, bars, clubs. Plantrooms and many more areas to give the artists and public a great live musical experience.
